Dashing Through the Snow.

Oh thank goodness....we have made it to another Friday AND December starts tomorrow!

If you happen to be on the East Coast, you should have been treated to a light dusting of snow earlier this week, which was just so lovely.

Those beautiful flurries inspired me to share this astonishing photo with you and I hope that you find it just as beautiful as I do.

This is seriously one of the most beautiful photos of a bride that I have ever seen...
Until next time, stay bundled! xo.

Buttercream.

Hi lovelies!

You know, I really like to consider myself an expert at a few things and one of those things is eating sweets. Chocolate eclairs, red velvet cake, peanut butter cookies...you name it, I like it...along with this extreme level of talent comes the ability to spot a winning confection.

Today ladies and gents, I bring you wedding cakes that look good enough to eat!

Gosh, who doesn't love a great cupcake?! These look amazing.

I love this sweet cake display!

Ahh! How fun is this cake?!

So classically beautiful.

This vintage cake is absolutely darling.

If it were socially acceptable, I would definitely eat this whole thing by myself.

Which cake is your favorite?! Can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Until next time, xo.

Confetti Packets.

Happy Monday loves! This is the start to an amazing week because we can now all officially listen to Christmas music without shame...I am so excited! I heard Dominik the Christmas Donkey the other day and nearly burst with joy.

Any way...here are my absolute favorite 'pins' of the week. I just know that you will adore them as much as I do and hopefully they will make you hate your Monday just a little bit less. :)

How fun are these?! Confetti packets attached to your wedding programs...genius.

Such a sweet yet simple photo for your home.

A totally epic cake smashing moment.

These would be so beautiful for a winter wedding and charcoal + gold is a phenomenal color palette!

Hysterical. Let's be real...we have all been to ceremonies where these would have come in handy.

I came across this photo while searching for sharable pins and thought it was way to cute to keep to myself!

Until next time, xo.

P.S. - How was your Thanksgiving? Hopefully you ate just as much as I did...which for the record was a whole lot. :)

Petite Gilded Pumpkins.

Wahoo! Guess what?! This wonderful post that you are currently feasting your eyeballs on is our 100th entry. We couldn't be more excited about achieving this milestone and want to thank all of you for reading Life is Beauty Full so that we can continue to do what we love! :)

-The Cocroft & Delbridge Team

In other news...Thanksgiving is THIS week! I can't even begin to believe how quickly 2012 has flown by, it is just incredible. I hope that you are starting to get excited for time with family, stuffing, turkey, and pie. While I adore this holiday, it can often be the inspiration for some pretty heinous weddings. From plastic cornucopias to faux turkeys...the nightmare just doesn't end.

As unbelievable as it sounds, a Thanksgiving themed wedding can be done spectacularly. The trick is to provide subtle hints of the season as opposed to featuring Pilgrim figurines on your table. One of my favorite ways to subtly guide your guests to your theme is through the use of color. An incredible color palette for this time of year is a combination of burnt oranges, glittery golds, creamy ivory, and a rich navy blue.

I love the warm and inviting feel of this table setting featured in Lonny Magazine. The orange, gold, and organic details immerse your guests in the season while the navy adds just a touch of sophistication. It is pure perfection.

Utter Elegance.

How cute are these petite gilded pumpkins?!

These taper candles create a stunning display!

What are your personal favorite color combinations for this time of year? As always, your comments and thoughts are fantastically appreciated...I just love hearing your opinions!

Until next time, I will be up to my elbows in flour baking pies! Have a great day, xo.

Too Soon?

Dearest readers, I am so wildly distraught that I can barely type.

I don't know about you and your better half...but my husband and I are in the midst of a rather intense battle...this issue has divided us for years and always pops up during this transitional season.

I can't take his wrong opinion any longer.

So, we simply need an outside opinion to solve this utterly vital issue.

Drumroll please.........

Is it too soon for stores to be putting up Christmas decorations?!

This sweater is so glorious...I can barely handle it.

I think that it is never too soon for jolliness and who doesn't love an ugly Christmas sweater?! In my opinion, why wait for such an amazing holiday?

Hahaha...who knew turkeys could be so funny?!

My darling husband thinks (falsely, I might add) that Christmas items need to be hidden until after Thanksgiving and refuses to partake in any holiday cheer until then.

What do you think about this awkward time of year?

Ready....set...share your thoughts!

Until next time, you can find me putting up tinsel in hidden nooks of our home, xo.

A Really Big Salute.

Happy Monday darlings!

Today, we are celebrating the amazing heroes in our nation who have or are currently serving in the military...without their constant bravery we would not be the fabulous country we are today. So be sure to thank all of the veterans in your life, your appreciation will certainly bring a smile to their face!

There are so many things to love in this vintage military engagement shoot...

I just fell in love with the simple beauty of this wedding day portrait.

This is such a unique and pretty shot...

Swoon.

A dreamy military wedding that you should definitely check out!

Gosh, there is just something about a man in uniform. :)

Until next time, xo.

Kate.

Happy Wednesday loves!

Alright, so I know that the royal wedding happened quite some time ago...but while I was reading through some of my most favorite blogs, I stumbled across this astounding image and couldn't keep the beauty to myself.

The stunning Kate Middleton...wait...I seriously doubt that she kept her maiden name...

Seriously though, Princess Kate is just the epitome of a classic beauty...our generation's version of Grace Kelly. Swoon.

Until next time, xo.

How Pinteresting...

Alright, if you haven't heard of Pinterest yet you must be living under a rock somewhere and I am highly concerned. In my opinion, this amazing website is one of the greatest things to grace this planet since carbohydrates...too much of an exaggeration, I think not.

This online gem contains all of the prettiest pictures and most clever ideas out there and places them into one spot of sheer awesomeness for your viewing pleasure. It is almost too great to explain...so I have decided that each Monday I will share some of my most favorite pins to start your week off on the right foot.

Without further ado...

This gown is so breathtaking, the intricate beading is utterly phenomenal!

Such a cute photo...not to mention the gowns are gorgeous!

This is truly one of the most incredible wedding venues I have ever seen...

A sweet flower girl and a darling puppy...this photo just gushes with cuteness!

This whimsical, floral crown is too pretty not to share with you!

The expressions in this photo are absolutely hysterical!

Pretty in Pink.

Until next time, xo!

In the Black.

Happy Friday readers!

Normally I am not into black bridal gowns (I can be a sucker for tradition) but I can't help but fall in love with this stunning confection from Vera Wang...it is just SO beautiful.

The details of this gown are just so striking!

What are your thoughts on non-traditional bridal gowns? We can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe. Until next time, xo.
